After a long wait finally Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola has received a warm welcome from us with
lots of expectations. It’s neither a comedy movie nor a hard hitting subjective
film, its typical Vishal Bhardwaj flick. If you are truly a Vishal Bhardwaj fan,
you will like it for sure. Matru Ki
Bijlee Ka Mandola is basically a serious melodrama with some humor with
totally different treatment. It’s having same old typical bollywood story line
and situation, which we have seen many times; however, it has been presented in
very different way by Mr. Bharadwaj. The Bollywood’s basic masalas are there,
but the recipe is different. Mr. Bhardwaj has his own style to present things uniquely
and in a simple way too, like the “scene of heroine’s entry is that she is
coming out of water, but surrounded by buffalos, the buffalo shit is raining
from sky and in background a romantic song starts, A Gulabi Bhains(PinkBuffallo) touch throughout the movie, A romantic number is weaved with African
folk and Haryanvi folk…etc.” so guys the treatment of movie is awesome. Pankaj
Kapoor and Shabana Azmi have given a fantabulous performance once again and you
will see Imraan in totally different way than before. Imraan and Anushka have performed
very well according to their roles. In nutshell Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola is a nice movie and it’s a good start
for Bollywood in 2013.
