The Reluctant Fundamentalist is an upcoming movie by Mira Nair based on novel of Mohsin Hamid with the same name. It’s a story of a Pakistani boy with an American dream which crashes along with the planes of 9/11. The story and plot is very common as we have seen enough movies on similar subject and most of them were very same with slight differences. The trailer of The Reluctant Fundamentalist looks very nice and sincere; however, you may feel the same concept due to 9/11 involvement, but it also gives the glimpse that there will be something different & better as Mira Nair is there.  It has been studded with a huge star cast of Kate Hudson, Kiefer Sutherland, Liev Schreiber, Riz Ahmed, Om Puri, Sabana Azmi, Adil Hussain and Chandrachur Singh. The soundtrack has been scored by Michael Andrews and film has been edited by Shimit Amin who has given us films like Chak De! India, Ab Tak Chhappan and Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year. The Reluctant Fundamentalist seems to be a good one, so let’s give it a try and see how worthy it is.
