Johnny Depp is doing Whitey Bulger’s Bio-Pic Black Mass

Johnny Depp has given a green signal to play an Irish mobster Whitey Bulger, who has been top in most wanted list of FBI for almost two decades. Whitey Bulger is very popular name and Hollywood has made much more and will make it more by this latest bio-pic Black Mass. It has been named and inspired from a book Black Mass, which has been penned by Dick Lehr and Gerald O’Neill. Ben Affleck and Matt Damon were hoping to make the same from a long time, but now Johnny has took the wheel in his hand to rock on it. Whitey Bulger’s character has been used as a reference in Martin Scorses’ “The Departed” for Jack Nicholson. Black Mass will be directed by Oscar winner Barry Levinson and production will be handled by Cross Creek’s Brian Oliver. This would be very interesting and ambitious project for everyone as the story has real twists, its complex and scandals of FBI needs to presented. Johnny Depp is rock-solid and terrific actor and he needs no guidance or anything to play any role, so he is gonna embark this character by his name. It will go on floor from May and hopefully it will be completed by the end of 2013. We are ready Johnny, just fire whatever you want.
