Anurag Kashyap’s take on Bombay Talkies with Amitabh Bachchan
Bombay Talkies is an upcoming movie set to
be released on 3rd May, 2013 on completion of 100 years of Bollywood. 4 master-blaster directors
are going to provide input with their short films in this one and with
combination of these 4 short films Bombay Talkies will be completed. The 4
maestros are none other than Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Dibankar Banarjee and
Anurag Kashyap. Amitabh Bachchan’s
lavish house “Pratiksha” which is very well known and fully crowded with fans
everyday has never been shot to be presented on screen. Amitabh Bachchan had never given permission to anyone to shoot his
premises before; however, he has made an exception and shooing has been done to
feature “Pratiksha” in Bombay Talkies as it was necessary due to the demand of
story. This exception has been made for one and only Anurag Kashyap. He wanted to make a film with Amitabh Bachchan as everybody else, but Anurag was looking for a
proper concept as always and now he had one so it’s done finally. Anurag Kashyap’s take on Bombay Talkies is with a story of a diehard
fan of Amitabh Bachchan who wants to
feed murraba to Amitabh Bachchan as
it was his mother’s last wish. I am so eager to see this one as I believe it
will be a nice one.
